Slender: The Arrival является официальным продолжением серии оригинальной игры от Марка Хэдли. The Arrival отличается новой сюжетной линией, улучшенной графикой и, самое главное, хоррорным выживанием в лучшем виде.
Версия русификатора ОБНОВЛЕНА с 0.9 до 0.9.7. Список изменений внутри.

Игра создана на движке Unity.
Slender: The Arrival представляет собой расширенную версию оригинальной игры, т.е. есть больше уровней и больше содержания. Так как игра еще не закончена трудно сказать, на сколько долгим будет окончательный вариант, но примерно геймплей оценивается в пару часов.

Большая часть игры происходит в заброшенных районах (дом, несуществующая шахта и т.д.), в каждом с различными целями. Slender: The Arrival использует подобную механику из своего предшественника, Slender: The Eight Pages. Персонаж вооружён только фонариком. Эта ограниченная защита вызывает чувство беспомощности, из-за этого, лучший способ выжить в игре, убегать при опасности. При приближении Слендера атмосфера паники добавляется сильными помехами камеры, когда при критичной ситуации изображение вообще сложно разглядеть, что заставляет игрока бежать в случайном направлении в большинстве случаев. Как и в прошлой части основным принципом игры является каноничное «Не останавливайся, не оборачивайся». В этом Слендер всегда был похож на принцип Amnesia и Penumbra, где персонаж так же не может сражаться с монстрами и так же имеет при себе только фонарик или лампу. Но в отличие от тех двух, игрока лишают способности спрятаться и отсидеться ввиду как правило открытого и замкнутого пространства. Вся игра состоит из шести глав + секретная, и имеет несколько вариантов концовок.
Особенности игры:
- Главный герой: персонаж женского пола;
- Снаряжение: фонарик, с возможностью концентрирования потока света на определенной местности, видеокамера и карта.
- в «прологе» дойти до дома, подойти к качелям и зайти внутрь
- найти и взять фонарик (месторасположение рандомно), включить радио
- выйти из дома и идти прямо к лесной тропинке, повернуть налево к дереву с плакатом ребёнка
- повторить данную последовательность три раза!

We've put out a new patch, which addresses a couple issues and cleans up the candy canes from our winter contest. Congratulations to the winners Connor, Igor, and Kyle!
We've added some new fixes to address controller sensitivity as well as patched up a number of areas with collision problems.

Unity has fixed a bug that was preventing us from upgrading our game to the latest version.

Technical Issues:
We bring to you a fix for the majority of your spinning or mouse sensitivity issues.
Secondly, for those of you receiving issues with lighting, we're still waiting on Unity. The issue can be found here: http://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/deferred-lighting-doesnt-work-on-intel-hd-graphics
Possible Workaround: Adding this flag "-force-d3d11" in the advanced launch options for the game in the steam client should make it run again.
This forces the unity engine the game to run in direct x 11 which appears to work fine with the new drivers and the Intel HD graphic cards.
Another possible workaround is to add the flag "-force-opengl" in the advanced launch options. Some users are mentioning performance gains.
We'll keep you updated, for now we've placed a disclaimer regarding Intel HD graphics on our store page.

- Fixed some issues with our Steam Cloud integration. We've compressed several save files transferring between client-> server into a single file updated at game start/end.
- Those who are still getting black screens at the beginning due to the Achievements string bug should be able to play normally with no adjustment made on your part.

- Fixed a problem where some of the game times were not being recorded on "Easy"

Flashlight comes on in some dark locations automatically
Fixed an issue where the game would not be able to connect to the license server
Fixed an issue where easy mode was sometimes not properly toggling in the forest
Fixed an issue which would cause SM to occasionally instantly kill the player.
